Planet X Mercedes-Benz Vito

Planet X is Australia’s premiere freestyle sport and lifestyle youth media and marketing brand. The Planet X Street Team bring the various media products (TV, X Mag, PX online), events (Planet X Summer & Winter Games, Planet X Trials, Jim Beam Planet X Tour) and licensed products (videos, games, eyewear etc.) in the Planet X family to the street.

Representing cutting edge youth culture, Planet X Street Team members range from skateboarders and BMX riders to breakdancers, DJs, musicians and street performers, providing free entertainment and handing out Planet X and partner freebies.

The centrepiece of the Street Team roadshow is the Planet X branded black Mercedes-Benz Vito van. The X Vito features a pumping sound system, extreme sports demo gear and a breakdancing mat.

Special Purpose Vehicle specialist, TRAKKA, transformed the X Vito van into a multipurpose people mover and on-site entertainment unit.

TRAKKA designed and built the plush interior which included seating for additional passengers, cabinets to house the entertainment systems which included a TV and PlayStation 2, sound insulation, interior linings and a custom 12 & 240 Volt electrical system enabling the unit to be used independently from power.

Areas covered will be Sydney, regional NSW, Canberra, Melbourne and regional VIC. Destination venues include music festivals, surf/skate events, beaches, shopping centres, theme parks and other places where Planet X people hang out.
